Uniting for a Greener Future

Save the date of September 25^th on your calendars to join a worldwide celebration of sustainability! The Global Conversation on Sustainability (GCS) is a joint project between the IYCN and IUPAC that was launched in 2022 to inspire and empower local and global actions toward achieving a more sustainable future. By implementing sustainable practices, showcasing different activities, promoting actions, and collaborating, the GCS aims to help our society to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Individuals, organizations, and institutions across the world are invited to participate and organize their own events in their own manner – guidelines for in-person and virtual events are provided at the GCS website.

Diverse formats of the GCS events will be featured, as well as feature, opinion, and perspective articles by the global chemistry community on the topic of sustainability. If you plan to organize a GCS event this year, please register it at the GCS website.
