Summary

This event will address the problems associated with pollution of the Arctic environment by petroleum hydrocarbons and with ways to restore disturbed lands.
Main directions of scientific research of Institute of Oil and Gas Problems, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences:
– fundamental problems of geology and geochemistry of oil and gas of ancient platforms;
– physical and technical problems of mining, transport and processing of hydrocarbons in the far North;
– the еexperimental simulation of oil formation in the flow of supercritical fluid;
– the problem of the formation of a regional oil and gas complex in new economic conditions;
– the scientific basis for conservation of Northern ecosystems in conditions of functioning of the oil and gas complex;
– Geochemical studies of surface of hydrocarbon fields in the permafrost region of natural and anthropogenic Genesis;
– the development of methods of remediation of petroleum pollution soils with Microbe-plant systems
