On February 16th, Memorial University will be hosting its IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast event! This is a global event organized to celebrate the accomplishments of women in STEM, encourage networking, and discuss different aspects of being a woman in science. This year’s event theme is “Empowering Diversity in Science” and leaders from the Memorial science community will discuss interesting topics such as work/life balance, mental health, careers, and LGBTQ2S+ experiences/issues. We’ll also be introducing the MUN chapter of the Chemical Institute of Canada's Canadians Working for Inclusivity in Chemical Sciences (CWIC)!
