Molecular imprinting is a generic approach for the synthesis of polymeric matrices having selectivity towards the imprinted species. This methodology has been widely applied in sensing and separation of organic molecules. Recently, it has been extended to larger entities such as biomolecules, whole cells and nanomaterials.
The significance of this meeting will be the emphasis on the combination between scientific excellency and the platform for young researches to present their work. In addition, new aspects of molecular imprinting that have not been presented in previous meetings will be presented, such as bio-imprinting and membrane imprinting.
