Description

As I fidget with my phone over a glass of 7 Up lemonade, as I try to kill the weekend boredom, it came to my mind that the mobile electronic gadgets we use today have almost over 80% of the elements enlisted in the periodic table. Folks, let us imagine Mendeleev still alive today. I am convinced that he will probably be writing an article to commemorate the Periodic Table and how it has impacted our daily lives: from catalysis, energy storage to power generation. I am also certain that he seriously will be pondering on how best to arrange various iconic elements in the periodic table. This is what is depicted in the portrait I have designed here and attached here.

Regardless of the outcome of the contest, all I would ask is that you join me in celebrating the Periodic Table and how it has impacted various facets of our society. How I wish Dmitri Mendeleev was alive today to witness the various technologies facilitated by the elements he predicted.

Just finished up with my lemonade, now it is the real deal-a can of Carlsberg indeed! Cheers!
