Description

The element iron is usually perceived as rather dull and grey. That is why we wanted to use the opportunity of the Nobelium contest to show some of the more colourful sides of iron chemistry. Inspired by our first year inorganic chemistry lecture we chose three chemical reactions, which yield red, green, and blue iron complexes.
