Summary
On February 11, as part of International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the “Women in Science Breakfast” will be held, a meeting aimed at raising awareness, recognizing, and strengthening the participation of girls, young women, and women in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). The event will bring together female students and researchers from three key academic communities: CECyT 16, UPIIH, and MIDSS, with the aim of creating a space for dialogue, inspiration, and inter-institutional networking.
The activity will take the form of an academic breakfast, promoting an accessible and horizontal environment for interaction between generations. The event is expected to open with a welcome message and contextualization of the significance of February 11, highlighting the importance of building educational trajectories free of stereotypes, expanding opportunities, and encouraging women to remain in scientific and technological fields.
