Our guest for GWB 2026 is Dr. Jasmina Lovrić. We will discuss nanoemulsions, an innovative approach to developing eye drops. Additionally, she will introduce us to her faculty. Together, we will celebrate women's contributions to science and demonstrate how knowledge can be inclusive, accessible, and collaborative.
Dr. Jasmina Lovrić is a professor at University of Zagreb. Her research focuses on innovative drug delivery systems, biopharmaceutical characterization, and ophthalmic nanoemulsions. In collaboration with Jadran-Galenski Laboratorij d.d., she contributes to the development of a pharmaceutical platform for formulating poorly soluble active substances for dry eye disease. She earned her pharmacy degree and Ph.D. at the University of Zagreb and completed doctoral and postdoctoral training at McGill University in Montreal and the International Centre of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in Trieste.
