Event Name: IUPAC CSNLAGOS WIC GWB MEETING 2026
Organiser: Women In Chemistry, Lagos Chapter of Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN)
The theme is “Many Voices, One Science,” the Women In Chemistry, Lagos Chapter of Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) aims to celebrate the event with a focus on “Innovative Startups and Young Entrepreneurs: Opportunities for Girls in Science and Tech”.
The event is geared towards exposing, educating, and empowering the women/girls in chemistry and science education in general, and, by extension, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) as well as in the industry.
The objectives are:
To create awareness and establish an approach to science education in which young women are exposed to innovative and creative thinking, with a view for mindset shift from focusing on white collar jobs to entrepreneural path.
A Forum for women Chemists from various fields of practice to interact and and share experience.
