Summary
Students of the Institute of Chemistry and Sustainable Development, who successfully combine their studies with active engagement in research, creative pursuits, and social initiatives, were invited to a meeting with Natalia Pavlovna Tarasova – a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, President of IUPAC (2016-2017), Chair of the National Committee of Russian Chemists, and a Doctor of Chemical Sciences.
The participants included academic group leaders (elders), student curators, and activists from various student organizations and creative clubs. In the informal setting of the breakfast, the students will share their project achievements, discuss current challenges within the scientific community, and explore potential solutions. The conversation will cover topics such as career development, mentorship, and maintaining a balance between research work and social activism.
