Summary

Our Global Women’s Breakfast 2026 at London Metropolitan University will celebrate the IUPAC theme “Many Voices, One Science” by highlighting the diverse experiences of women in STEM. The event aims to inspire and empower undergraduate and postgraduate students, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, by showcasing career pathways and addressing barriers to gender equality. Taking place on 10 February 2026 from 10:00–13:00, it will feature talks from female alumni, panel discussions with alumni and academic staff, networking opportunities, and short interviews shared on social media. The audience includes students in the School of Human Sciences, with a focus on engaging women and underrepresented groups. Speakers include female alumni and staff. Organisers: Dr Rhiannon Brooks and Dr Bhaven Patel. The event supports the Global Women’s Breakfast mission by fostering dialogue, mentorship, and an inclusive scientific community.
