Summary

The Department of Chemistry, Dibrugarh University, is organizing a special event to celebrate the IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast (GWB) 2025 along with the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on 11th February 2025. The global theme for this year, “Accelerating Equity in Science,” focuses on promoting diversity and inclusion in scientific fields.
As part of the celebration, an online invited lecture will be delivered by Dr. (Ms.) Swapnali Hazarika, FRSC, Senior Principal Scientist & Professor, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, who will share her insights and experiences on fostering equity in science. The event aims to inspire discussions and awareness about equitable representation in scientific endeavors.
