Summary

The theme for #GWB2025 is “Accelerating Equity in Science” in support of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) celebration. The United Nations has an International Day of Women and Girls in Science on February 11. The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is the principal global intergovernmental body dedicated to promoting gender equality and women's empowerment. Women make important contributions to the field of research and innovation. The symposium aims to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, identity, or socioeconomic status, has equal access to quality science education, opportunities to participate in scientific research, and the ability to pursue careers in science, essentially providing the necessary support for each individual to reach their full potential in the field. The students will have oral and poster sessions during the Advancement in Science and Women Empowerment for Sustainable Future symposium.
