Summary
Event held within the scope of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) initiative “Global Women’s Breakfast - GWB”, which promotes scientific networking and gender equality events in the most diverse countries. In its current format, the GWB resurfaced in 2019 as part of the celebrations of the centenary of the founding of IUPAC and, since then, it has been an annual event. In the year 2025, the global theme of the GWB is “Accelerating Gender Equity in Science”. Thus, in addition to celebrating the achievements of women in science and inspiring new generations for leadership roles, the event discusses how to catalyze advances in gender equality agendas in science.
