Summary

The IUPAC Global Women's Breakfast will be hosted in Nairobi Kenya By the Department of Chemistry of JKUAT in partnership with the Kenya Chemical Society (KCS), Nairobi Chapter. The main objective of KCS is to promote networking among chemists in Kenya and beyond.
Our 2024GWB event aims at building active networks amongst researchers from various disciplines in science by bringing together young chemistry researchers/postgraduate student, well established researcher and women scientists in industry. Some of the topics to be discussed will include gender inequality in the work place and how to eliminate gender gap in chemicals science; raising awareness of challenges women scientists face in academic, industry and government institutions: how the interest of men, women, boy and girls can be raised in science.
There will be and opportunity for the participants to meet and build networks with each other
