To celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and as part of the IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast, Prof. Dr. Dr. Vania Zuin Zeidler, from Leuphana University of Lüneburg, in Germany, is hosting the online breakfast “Empowering Diversity in Science”. The meeting is happening on the next 16th of February from 9:30 to 10:30 (CET) via Zoom, and aims to discuss the role of gender in Chemistry to promote a transdisciplinary dialogue about how sustainable chemistry could become a global framework to face and overcome diversity inequalities. The plenary lecturers of the event are MSc. Anna Holthaus, from the MSP Institute - Multi-Stakeholder Processes for Sustainable Development eV, in Berlin, and Dr. Aymara Victoria Llanque Zonta, researcher in sustainable food systems at Leuphana University. They are going to share their experiences working on gender equality and diversity inclusion in the scientific environment.
