Summary
In this round table, four women, chemists, biochemists and researchers, belonging to the teaching and research staff of the Faculty of Chemistry of the University Rovira i Virgili (URV): Prof. Rosa M. Marcè and Prof. Anna Ardèvol, to the research staff of the Institut Català d’Investigació Química (ICIQ): Dr. Katherine Villa, and to the research staff of the Chemical Technology area of Eurecat, Centre Tecnològic de Catalunya: Dr. Míriam Díaz de los Bernardos, will discuss about the opportunities and challenges that they had to face to build their careers. The round table will be chaired by Dr. Nuria Ruiz (Faculty of Chemistry, URV).
After the round table, all the participants will have the opportunity to socialize, network, while sharing a “xocolata amb melindros” (chocolate with biscuits) typical from Catalonia as breakfast, with which we will contribute to the Global Women Breakfast organized by IUPAC.
