Summary
Our first topic is COVID-19 and what it entails. Our speaker is a female medical doctor and also an associate professor in clinical microbiology. We desire to learn more about COVID-19, the necessary it its protocols and guidelines and to affect them at the grassroots which are the family/home and schools. Our second topic is ‘’ Teaching “students with special needs. Our speaker is a woman passionate in science education, girl education and youth development as well as being a senior lecturer.
Schools are gradually resuming with students who were compelled to stay at home for almost 10 months. Some of these students are depressed, angry and frustrated. To help the students acquire effective behavioral objectives, the woman shall be taught to be on look- out and be of help. Most of women in chemistry (WIC) Zaria chapter are lecturers and teachers in tertiary, secondary and primary institutions. We believe the attenders shall be enlighten and better equipped with school resumption.
