Summary

The School of Chemistry and Biosciences will run an Athena SWAN seminar and workshop for International Day for Women and Girls in Science Day. Dr Flavie Vial from the Animal and Plant Health Agency in York will be visiting the University of Bradford on 12th of February 2020 and give a seminar from 12:00 to 13:00 in Richmond H33 entitled 'Tackling (un)conscious bias in STEM.
A workshop will follow the seminar at 13:30 in Richmond H35. The workshop will further explore how we can build a diverse and inclusive research landscape to benefit society. We have brought together a panel of speakers with experience working in industry, NHS and academia. This should be of great interest to early career researchers. Undergraduate and postgraduate students are therefore particularly welcome.
