Summary

Scientists from around the world are invited to participate in the IUPAC 2020 Global Women's Breakfast (GWB2020). This global event will be held on a single day, February 12, 2020, the day after United Nations Day for women and girls in science. It is organized globally by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) and is a great way for Dow WIN to be part of an external global celebration. The overall objective of the GWB2020 is to establish an ongoing virtual network where women in the chemical and related sciences can meaningfully connect with each other to support their professional aspirations. The theme of the GWB2020 is "Unite to create future Leaders" with a focus on leadership development. In 2019, there were more than 150 events in 44 countries, including a Dow European WIN event that connected our implementation teams across different sites. This year the Aratu Site will participate and we will have the presence of Vanessa Grossi, HR Director for LA.
