Green Chemistry for Life Grant Programme – 3rd call for applications

PhosAgro/UNESCO/IUPAC grants in green chemistry
First grants UNESCO/PhosAgro/IUPAC to support research in the areas of environmental protection and human health, were awarded to young scientists from around the world in Moscow Sep 2014

 

The PhosAgro/UNESCO/IUPAC Partnership aims to generate and apply new scientific knowledge in green chemistry through the promotion of the activity in this area. It is also to reinforce the research capacities of the participating institutes and cooperation between them, and to increase awareness of policy and decision-makers in governments, science and industry, and the public at large, of the opportunities offered by advances in green chemistry.
The grants are intended to harness talents of young scientists worldwide for promoting the contribution of green chemistry for protection of the environment and human health, creation of new environmentally-sound science-based technologies, and identification of novel vistas for energy savings and use of natural resources.

Young scientists are invited to submit their applications for PhosAgro/UNESCO/IUPAC grants in green chemistry starting on 30 September 2015. The deadline for submission of applications for this 3rd round of applications is 28 February 2016.
