Each year IUPAC endorses a large number of independently organized conferences, symposiums and workshops that cover a wide range of specialized topics in chemistry. TRAMECH VIII is part of the new collaborative Network involving Countries of the Mediterranean Sea Area, closely linked to IUPAC, in order to build and foster a sustainable program of high-quality heterocyclic chemistry research, education and chemistry-based applications, especially in less developed countries of North Africa.

Ten grants of USD 300 will be available for young scientists (PhD students or Postdocs) for the participation to the TRAMECH VIII. Applications must be sent to Prof. Saverio Florio (e-mail: [email protected]) before 30 September 2015.
