Each year IUPAC endorses a large number of independently organized conferences, symposiums and workshops that cover a wide range of specialized topics in chemistry. The International Symposium on Glycoconjugates is the official biannual meeting promoted by the International Glycoconjugate organization. The symposium is the 25^thedition continuing a long-standing tradition dating back to 1964 and will this year be held in the University of Milano. This meeting cover all of the aspects of glycoconjugates chemistry and biochemistry, and of glycotechnology. Its key feature is the gathering of scientists involved in all of the diverse aspects of the research on Glycoconjugates under the same roof.
