Each year IUPAC endorses a large number of independently organized conferences, symposiums and workshops that cover a wide range of specialized topics in chemistry. Endorsement by IUPAC attests to the quality of the scientific program and indicates the host country’s assurance that scientists from all countries may participate. See program details.

18th International Symposium on Macromolecule–Metal Complexes (MMC-18)

  • This event has passed.

The important role in the recent development of science, technology and society is associated with design new materials and devices based on macromolecular materials and composites. This symposium provides an international forum for presentation and discussion about the most recent progress and future trends in the fields of macromolecular complexes (MMC) as well as multifunctional materials based on MMC and their applications.

Russia will host the MMC-18 in 2019 at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, 10-13 June 2019.

This symposium continues a series of conferences that have been organized biennial at different places around the world. The previous MMC conferences were held in Beijing (1985), Tokyo (1987), New Jersey (1989), Siena (1991), Bremen (1993), Kuang-chou (1995), Leiden (1997), Tokyo (1999), New York (2001), Moscow (2003), Pisa (2005), Fukuoka (2007), Termas de Chillan (2009), Helsinki (2011) and Greenville (2013), Wroclaw (2015) and Tokyo (2017).
