cover: In Japan, the 2019 International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements was a well followed year-long celebration that culminated with the IYPT global closing ceremony* in Tokyo on December 5. For the land of the rising sun, which a few years ago was also recognized in element 113, Nh, the celebrations continue this year with the 2020 Summer Olympics.
