CAS Common Chemistry™ expands collection of publicly available chemical information

The expansion of CAS Common ChemistryTM is live! Over the next few days, you will see the links that point to the publicly available resource redirected to the new experience. With this update, CAS Common Chemistry provides high-quality scientific information on routinely encountered chemicals for nearly 500,000 substances from CAS REGISTRY®. The collection represents substances commonly found on regulatory lists, in consumer products and as part of introductory chemical curricula. Accessible through enhanced search functionality and an application programming interface (API), interested individuals can quickly find chemical names, CAS Registry Numbers®, structures or basic compound properties. Thanks to your collaboration and support from others in the chemistry and open science communities, the general public can find reliable chemical information to foster learning and improve safety.
