Description

We were inspired by the current world problems, especially the contamination and excessive use of plastic that is being contained in the oceans. So since this is the year of the Periodic Table we decided to make a contribution to the atmosphere by making a recycled periodic table up to the 18th element made out of a used cardboard box, plastic bottle caps and straws to raise awareness of what is going on with our planet. Also, celebrate the Periodic Table at the same time. The table is separated into their categories with colors. Red means metalloid, purple is non-metal and green is metal. I hope this work raises awareness of our problems and celebrate the year of the periodic table.

About Arami

My classmate and I really wanted to do something that would have an impact on society and raise awareness on critical conflicts on the planet while still honoring the periodic table.
