Description
For the Nobelium Contest project, we baked cupcakes and pasted small posters on each representing the element from the periodic table of elements. We did elements one to eighteen. Our inspiration was working on our chemistry class with chemical and physical changes and learning that baking is a chemical change, we wanted to combine this with the periodic table. To do it, we bought all the ingredients and got together in a house to bake, then we used toothpicks to hang the chemical symbols of each element on a small poster. While doing this work we remembered the periodic table, since we’ve done it before but a long time ago.
