In line the objective of this IUPAC Global Breakfast, this program will gather female chemists within Akwa Ibom State for the first time to share experiences in the profession. Most importantly, it will provide a platform for mentoring, networking and collaborations. The organizers hope to build on this maiden meeting to strengthen relationship among female chemistry professionals in the state. Therefore, we are grateful to IUPAC for this initiative; we will be glad to share our feedback, pictures about our event and also key into future opportunities from IUPAC and other affiliated organizations.
