OWSD-Indonesia intends to hold the ONE DAY WITH CHEMISTS 2019 event, which is an activity meeting of young chemists and to introduce chemistry to high school and equivalent students who are packaged through a series of interesting seminars from young chemists as well as visits to laboratory of natural product and synthesis chemistry. This activity is expected to help chemists women expand their network of new career opportunities for research, employment or education. The theme raised in this activity was “EMPOWERING WOMEN IN CHEMISTRY: A GLOBAL NETWORKING EVENT”. This theme explains the important role of women in the field of science, especially chemistry. More and more young women are interested in studying chemistry, so it is hoped that more women will develop chemistry.
