“Pinay sa Kimika” (Women Chemists in the Philippines)

Event description:
The event will be organised by the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, University of Santo Tomas. It will be held at 8-10 am on February 12, 2019 at the Fr. Buenaventura G. Paredes, O.P. Lobby., UST.
The event will be chaired by Prof. Christina A. Binag, Ph.D.

Six women chemists from different sectors (academe, industry, government and private organizations) will be invited to share their journey as Pinay chemists. We will target 100 attendees to earmarked the 100 years of IUPAC.
We hope to link with other women chemists in the ASEAN region.
