The IUPAC General Assembly (GA) is the occasion for meetings of the statutory bodies of the Union, specifically of the Council, Bureau, Division Committees, and Standing Committees. The 48th IUPAC General Assembly will take place 7 August – 14 August 2015, in Busan, Korea, running concurrently with the 45th IUPAC World Chemistry Congress.
The GA and the Congress will share the venue (the congress center called BEXCO) and several events, including a joint opening and reception. Detailed information about the Congress is available at www.iupac2015.org, including program, call for abstract, congress registration, travel information (including visa), and accommodations.
We would like to encourage you to take advantage of your participation in the GA by also attending the Congress. The Organizing Committee has prepared an exciting program with the theme Smart Chemistry, Better Life. GA participants (i.e. IUPAC members and delegates) can register to the Congress at a special discounted rate. Registration is readily available at www.iupac2015.org.
GA Registration
The GA online registration will open on 1 March 2015. Registration to the GA is free but required for all IUPAC Members and Delegates planning to attend. Meanwhile Members and Delegates are encouraged to review the Congress website to make their lodging arrangements. LINK to GA registration
